CINCINNATI — What started as a local event-planning business shifted to a customer service provider once the pandemic hit, and this business wants to hire about 30 new people to join them.
Five years ago, House of Levi was an event-planning business, which offered catering, a dessert boutique, photography and beauty consultants. Then the pandemic stopped large gatherings and owner Ebony Collins shifted the business and renamed it House of Levi Enterprises.
The new business is a call center that provides customer service representatives for several companies. While employees of House of Levi transitioned into the new business and their new roles, Collins is adding more companies to their call center, so they need to hire more employees.
"Our company was already small and close-knit, so now it's like, okay, we're venturing out and we have double the amount of employees we had," Collins said. "We can't stop. We gotta keep going because there's so many people out there that are hearing about us and they want to work."
House of Levi Enterprises hosts a sales training course for new employees, and if people want to work from home during the pandemic, House of Levi Enterprises will provide all the necessary equipment. People also don't need any experience to be considered for these positions.
