CINCINNATI — Metro is hosting a career fair for candidates interested in becoming bus operators for the bus service.

Interviews and job assessments will be available on site, a Metro spokesperson said, for full-time and part-time positions.

The Operator Career Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Metro’s Queensgate Garage at 1401 Bank St.

Applicants do not need a CDL to apply and will be reimbursed for CDL fees if hired. The starting wage is $16.51 per hour after training, according to Metro, along with health and retirement benefits.

Operators will receive a $500 hiring bonus upon the successful completion of training.
