Need a babysitter on Election Day? KinderCare has you covered

If you want to vote on Election Day, but don't want to worry about your child while standing in line, KinderCare Learning Centers are offering parents a helping hand.

From today until the end of 2020, KinderCare is offering parents one drop-in day to give parents a chance to see what KinderCare has to offer.

"It gives parents the choice to come and see what our program is about," program director of Forestville KinderCare Heidi Pawlaczyk said. "Drop in for that day, maybe to vote or maybe do one of our fun activities, just to see if that’s a program that they would like to enroll in.”

Before parents drop their child off, though, they will have to fill out a KinderCare enrollment form and send a physical from the child's doctor to the learning center. After that, parents need to check with each KinderCare facility to see if they have space for their child.

KinderCare also asks that parents fill out and send all the necessary paperwork into the learning center at least one day before using their child's drop-in day.
