Crate and Barrel recalls plastic holiday milk bottles due to laceration hazard

Crate and Barrel is recalling more than 15,000 plastic milk bottles due to a laceration hazard.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission , the plastic straw that comes with Crate and Barrel’s Holiday Bear Acrylic Milk Bottle can crack and break, creating a laceration hazard. No injuries have been reported.

The milk bottles were sold nationwide and online between August 2018 and November 2018 for about $5.

Those that have one of these bottles are urged to stop using it and contact Crate and Barrel to receive a full refund. Customers can contact the company at 800-451-8217 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT Saturday through Sunday.
