Hi! I'm Krizia Williams!
When did you start working here? I started in August of 2023.
Where else have you worked? Before coming to WCPO, I was a Multimedia Journalist at WKBW Channel 7 News in Buffalo N.Y.
Where did you go to college? I have a Bachelors degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University (Guns Up!) and a Master Degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University (Go Orange!)
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? Journalism is a complex form of art that drives me to want to make the world a better place every time I write a script, step in front of a camera, or talk with and relate to the community members I story tell for. I am the most proud of my work because it is driven by my relationship building within the community around me and the stories I have the privilege to tell.
What are you most proud of in your own life? Education and molding the minds of those to come after me is really important to my heart. I am the most proud of the education I have - I am the first in my family to graduation not just high, but college and obtain a masters degree. One of my biggest drives in life is showing the younger generations how possible anything is when they set their mind to it.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State? I love the people! Everyone is so nice, friendly, and always wants to say hi to me and my dog!

All-Time favorites:Sports: As a kid I played basketball, volleyball, ran track, and I cheered. I absolutely loved every one of them but the one I miss the most is volleyball and that would have to be my all time favorite sport.
TV Shows: My favorite show of all time is Sister Sister! Trailing very close behind that is Gilmore Girls, Carmen San Diego, Scandal, and White Collar. I’m currently watching Suits and am really enjoying it! We’ll see if it makes the list soon though.
Books: Right now I’m on chapter 18 of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but I really like anything by Colleen Hoover or Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. I am a big fan of mystery, crime, self help, and of course love stories.
Movies: Tombstone by Kevin Jarre is my all time favorite movie!
