NEWPORT, Ky. -- Replicas of two sailing ships used by Christopher Columbus on expedition to the West Indies have arrived in Newport.
The Nina and Pinta are docked at Hooters and Beer Sellar on Riverboat Row.
They will be open to the public starting at 9 a.m. Aug. 30. Tickets cost $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $6.50 for students age 5-16. Children under 4 are free.
