CINCINNATI — Slide the City is returning this Saturday to the Queen City.
Organizers will once again erect a 1,000-foot slip-and-slide (the length of three football fields) along Jefferson Avenue in Clifton for some summer fun. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It also includes live music, food, drinks and water to keep sliders entertained.
Single, triple and unlimited ride ticket packages are still available on the Slide the City website. Ticket prices range from $18 for single slides to a $99 all-day pass. There will be on site, day-of sales unless the event sells out beforehand.
Tickets for all packages include an entry wristband, a drawstring bag and a mouth guard. Participants are required to bring an inflatable tube or purchase one on site to slide. Slide the City is open to riders ages 5 and older over 46 inches tall.
Last year’s Slide the City sold out after being rescheduled from June to August due to rain.
