CINCINNATI – Sorry, Nicki Minaj fans, you'll have to wait a little longer to see the hip-hop artist perform at US Bank Arena.

In June, Minaj announced she and fellow hip-hop artist Future would visit the Queen City on Sept. 29 for their joint NickiHndrxx tour.

US Bank Arena announced on Wednesday that Minaj and Future are postponing their North American tour, which was set to begin Sept. 12 in Baltimore.

Instead, the artists will start the European leg of their tour in February as planned. The US tour is tentatively rescheduled to begin in May.

US Bank Arena reports the postponement is the result of Minaj deciding to "reevaluate elements of production on the NickiHndrxx Tour" following her recent MTV Video Music Awards performance.

Future recently executive produced and curated the soundtrack to the movie “Superfly” and co-produced the film re-make.

Minaj released her fourth full-length studio album “Queen” on Aug. 10.
