CINCINNATI — "Reds" hot – that is the easiest way to describe most of this season's new food lineup debuting at Great American Ball Park on Reds Opening Day March 28.

On Wednesday, new ballpark Executive Chef Gary Davis talked about the eats he created at a preview tasting event inside the ballpark's Handle Bar.

"I just tried to come up with a lot of different things that were unique to us," Davis said. "We have a lot of different sponsorships here at the ballpark between Grippo's celebrating its 150th (anniversary), Queen City Sausage, Servatii's and Klostermann. I get all these great ingredients and I get to come up with all of these great items."

Those 2019 menu items include the Big Red Machine Burger topped with a Big Red Smokey and Grippo's chips; and the Cincinnati Hot Pork Sandwich slathered with hot sauce. Frisch's Big Boy will also serve its new spicy tartar sauce either on sandwiches or for dipping french fries.
