HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — One of the leading ladies of country music is bringing her newly announced tour to Northern Kentucky University this September — a tour packed with female performers.
Miranda Lambert’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour takes over BB&T Arena at 7 p.m. on Sept. 21, the fifth stop on the 25-city tour.
Singers Elle King and Caylee Hammack join Lambert on the road, along with Pistol Annies — a female trio of which Lambert is a member.
The Sept. 21 show is the only Kentucky stop for the tour, but Lambert is bringing her country hits to Ohio as well:
- Toledo - Sept. 20
- Columbus - Sept. 28
The “White Liar” and “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer has performed in the Tri-State several times. Lambert performed at Riverbend Music Center with Little Big Town during the 2018 Bandwagon Tour. Lambert opened for Jason Aldean at Great American Ball Park in July, 2014.
Lambert was among the nominees for Female Artist of the Year during the 54th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards held Sunday, but lost to singer Kacey Musgraves. The past winner of the award performed with icon George Strait, and performed a medley of her own hits during the show.
Tickets for the Highland Heights show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
