CINCINNATI — There are over 100,000 veterans in the Tri-State, and none of them should have to face critical home repairs when they return home.

WCPO - 9 On Your Side and People Working Cooperativelyare once again holding the "Ramp it Up for Veterans" telethon tonight from 4-8 p.m. The telethon assists low-income, elderly and disabled veterans, from all eras, in the Tri-State.

Every gift you make will help to eliminate the need of 300-plus veterans and their families who are waiting for help. The impact will be huge for these hometown heroes who are waiting for emergency home repairs, home modifications and more.

The impact is yours to make. These dollars will directly help veterans in your community -- maybe a neighbor, a friendly face at the supermarket, the person sitting next to you at church -- all who have bravely served their country. We ask that you give generously in the spirit of the holidays.

If you would like to make a donation, you can call the telethon lines after 4 p.m. at 513-719-4929. You can also click here to donate online at any time.
