NORWOOD, Ohio — Chef Jean-Robert de Cavel's popular Frenchie Fresh at the Rookwood Exchange is permanently closed.

Cavel's JR Group shared the closure of eatery at 3831 Edwards Road in Norwood, in a Facebook post on April 20.

The same post also stated Frenchie French will reopen in the Deerfield Towne Center at 5085 Deerfield Blvd. in Mason this July.

Frenchie French opened in the Rookwood Exchange three years ago as a new fine, fast casual dining format for the JR Group. The group also owns upscale eateries Jean-Robert's Table, L, French Crust and Le Bar A Boeuf.

Frenchie French's simple menu include staple comfort foods such as specialty and build-your-own burgers, french fries, tots, soups, salads and mac & cheese.

The JR Group did not give a reason as to why Frenchie French is relocating.
