MASON, Ohio — Military Appreciation Days at Kings Island begin on Wednesday.
For three days, July 3-5, the park will waive the admission fee for active and retired military members. Members of the National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers' Training Corps members are also eligible.
Kings Island is providing free military tickets as a way to honor service members, according to a statement on the park’s website.
“Knowing well the dangers inherent in the work, an extraordinary brand of men and women step up to preserve our freedom, a cause greater than self,” the statement says.
On top of free admission, Kings Island also allows military members to buy up to six tickets for immediate family members for $35 each. The regular price of daily admission tickets starts at $47.99
A valid government-issued military ID is required.
