HAMILTON, Ohio — Two Badin High School students suffered non-life-threatening injuries when they were struck by a vehicle this morning while walking to school, according to a school official.
The students were transported to a local hospital and are expected to recover, the official said.
“We are relieved,” said Dirk Allen, spokesman for the district.
He said the students were hit about 6:50 a.m. while walking in the crosswalk at West Fairway Drive and New London Road. The driver, not a Badin student, stopped after the accident, Allen said.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to police.
