CINCINNATI — More than 100 people mourned the two people killed in an East Price Hill fire and prayed for the recovery of 10 others injured outside of the building's remains Monday evening.
The coroner has identified the victims as 21-year-old Nyla Lashay Harrow and 2-year-old Jayceon McGee.
Howard Curtis lived in the building and was related to both Harrown and McGee, and he told the crowd of people they were gathered to share love with one another.
"Prayers, we need them all," Curtis said. "Give me all you can get. I need it. They need it. The friends need it."

Cincinnati Fire Department (CFD) Assistant Fire Chief Matt Flagler said the fire occurred in the 700 block of Summit Avenue around 1 p.m.
The residence was a multi-family duplex.
Flagler said the initial responding crews found a heavy fire and several injured people outside of the building. Of those injured people, Flagler said some jumped from the building to escape the fire.
"We do think that the fire started on the outside of the residence and actually spread up the rear of the building, and then it got inside the residence," Flagler told us on Monday while giving an update on the fire. "That's sadly what cut people on the upper floors off from being able to escape. That fire raced up that interior stairwell and cut those people off, and that's why they were jumping, and ultimately, two people were trapped at the very top of the building."
According to Flagler, 10 people were taken to the hospital.
At least two children were transported to the hospital.
Flagler said crews attempted an aggressive attack on the fire to get into the building and look for others, but the fire pushed them back.

"Our number one job is to protect the public, and we did everything we could to get inside that building," Flagler said.
Flagler said CFD received unconfirmed reports that there were other people unaccounted for who could have been in the building at the time of the fire. He said once the fire was out, crews searched the remnants of the house.
Flagler mentioned that the building will be demolished most likely on Monday.
Flagler said roughly 80 firefighters assisted in putting out the fire. He said they currently do not have a cause, but Flagler said the fire appears to be accidental.
