When did you start working here? February 2024
Where else have you worked? Prior to WCPO 9, I worked part-time as a Content Center Producer at WSOC-TV in Charlotte, NC. This is my first full-time job since graduating college in January 2024.
Where did you go to college? I received my Bachelors degree in journalism from Elon University.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work? I am most proud of giving a voice to the voiceless. I aim to write stories centered around marginalized communities. It is amazing to see these stories take shape, inform the people, and impact communities.
What are you most proud of in your own life? I am most proud of my determination and the things I was able to accomplish while in college. Every summer in college I was able to secure a journalism internship and I had the privilege of being able to work part-time at a news station before graduating. I plan to continue that drive and accomplish the other goals I have set for myself while trying to pass along my knowledge and experience to younger kids as I progress.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State? The people in the area are so friendly and welcoming, the food is great (lots of gluten-free options), and I like being near the city.

All-Time favorites: Sports: As a child I did competitive gymnastics for 10 years, so I will always have a deep love and appreciation for the sport. But the sport I enjoy watching on a consistent basis is basketball which I also played in middle and high school.
TV Shows: My favorite TV show is Friends. Other shows I love include New Girl, Criminal Minds, and Outer Banks.
Books: I generally read books after I have watched the movies. Some of my favorites are Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and The Help.
Movies: My favorite movies of all time are Harry Potter, specifically Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I also enjoy Divergent, Hunger Games, and Marvel movies.
