COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Shots were fired inside a Colerain Township car dealership Thursday, including just as police arrived on scene, body camera footage shows.
Police said no one was injured, but one shot can be heard on body camera footage as Colerain police approach the building on Colerain Avenue.
In the footage, a single shot can be heard from inside just as an officer approaches the outside of the Joseph Chevrolet showroom with a gun drawn.
"We got shots fired inside, shots fired inside," shouts the officer, who takes cover behind a vehicle in the parking lot for a moment before approaching the door.
Once inside, the officer wearing the body camera shouts for someone just outside of the camera's frame to put their hands up. As the officer walks further inside, a man can be seen sitting in an office chair at a desk in a row of cubicles with both hands in the air.
That man was later identified as 21-year-old Rashid Dewees.
The officers shout for the Dewees to get on the ground, but he continues to sit in the chair with his hands up. A handgun can be seen on the ground between his feet. Officers approach him, grab him by the arm and pull him away from the desk before forcing him to the ground.
"I will f****** shoot you," one of the officers can be heard saying.
"Oh, wow," said Dewees.
Officers approach him, grab him by the arm and pull him away from the desk before forcing him out of the chair and to the ground.
Officers then handcuff Dewees as he lies on the floor.
"Hey, the gun's on the floor right there, can somebody secure that?" said the officer wearing the body camera, pointing toward it.

From there, the officers spend roughly 15 minutes clearing the building. As they do, they find several other employees who had been hiding in various parts of the offices and body shop.
Dewees appeared in court Friday morning, where a judge ordered him to have no contact with anyone at the dealership and to not return to Joseph Chevrolet if he makes bond. Dewees is charged with aggravated menacing and inducing panic. His bond was set at $20,000, of which he must pay $2,000.
As of Friday afternoon, Dewees was no longer in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
Police responded to the dealership Thursday afternoon, shortly after 4 p.m. after reports came in that Dewees fired shots inside the showroom.
According to police, he was employed with Joseph Chevrolet at the time the incident happened.
In court Friday morning, prosecutors said that Dewees admitted to being "stressed at work" while being interviewed by police.
Thursday's shooting was the second shooting in Colerain in two weeks.
Ravi Nahallage, the store manager at the nearby Skyline Chili, said he's noticed the uptick in violence.

"As far as safety-wise it's a little more on edge," Nahallage said.
He credits the swift response by police, but says the recent string of shootings in Colerain has his customers feeling anxious.
"Everyone feels a little more uncomfortable like not wanting to walk around get out as much," Nahallage said.
He hopes some solutions can be found to prevent future shootings.
"It just makes me feel sad that people are resorting to that as their go-to for solving issues, and I just hope that if it's a mental issue or something like that, that people get the help they need," Nahallage said.
