NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Cincinnati Bengals have another win under their belts after a 37-27 victory against the Tennessee Titans.

Cincinnati (6-8) went into Sunday's matchup at Nissan Stadium knowing they needed to win if they wanted to hang onto any possible playoff chances.

Cincinnati's offense was once again with OT Orlando Brown Jr., and it was also without Cody Ford, who has been filling in for Brown, due to an illness. Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins was also once again out.

Joe Burrow opened the game in an unlikely fashion. On the second snap of the Bengals opening drive, Burrow intended a pass for Andrei Iosivas, which landed directly in Titans linebacker Luke Gifford's arms.

After that interception, running back Tony Pollard nabbed Tennessee's first touchdown of the day with a quick 3-yard run into the end zone.

Cincinnati running back Chase Brown got a receiving touchdown after a roughly nine-second scramble from Joe Burrow. Burrow weaved through defenders before finding Brown for a 6-yard pass in the end zone.

Tennessee then got its second touchdown of the day with a leap into the end zone from running back Tyjae Spears.

Burrow's second turnover of the day was off a strip sack from Titans linebacker Harold Landry. The ball was recovered by Tennessee nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat, who returned it for 30 yards.

Trey Hendrickson, who leads the NFL in sacks, got his first for the day with a forced fumble with a sack on Will Levis at the 39-yard line. The refs initially called it a dead play before Cincinnati challenged the call and it was reversed.

Cincinnati got sneaky, and it paid off. Defensive end Sam Hubbard lined up on the offensive line and ran a route where Joe Burrow sank a 2-yard pass to him in the end zone.

Corner Cam Taylor-Britt nabbed the Bengals' first interception of the day on a pass from Levis intended for former Bengal Tyler Boyd.

Cincinnati defensive end Sam Hubbard was ruled out for the rest of the game with a knee injury after his touchdown. Hubbard came down on his right knee during the touchdown play.

Burrow secured his third touchdown of the day with a deep 38-yard pass to Tee Higgins.

Levis threw his second interception of the day on the Titans' last drive of the first half. Levis intended a pass for WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, but Cincinnati corner Mike Hilton snatched the ball at the 38-yard line.

In the Bengals' first drive of the second half, Burrow threw another interception. In a deep pass intended for Ja'Marr Chase, Burrow was picked off by Titans corner Daryl Worley.

Levis threw his third interception for the day straight into the arms of Geno Stone, who ran in back for a 40-yard pick-six. The pick-six marks Stone's first of his career.

In what would have been another Bengals touchdown off a Titans turnover, Cincinnati safety Jordan Battle dropped the ball while switching hands before he stepped into the end zone. The ball then rolled out of the back of the end zone, giving Tennessee another chance at a drive.

After replacing Levis, Titans backup QB Mason Rudolph threw his first pick of the day straight into Cincinnati corner Josh Newton's arms.

Tennessee running back Spears got his second touchdown of the day with a 17-yard pass from Rudolph.

Cincinnati's Brown got his second touchdown of the day with a powerful 5-yard rush into the end zone. Cincinnati kicker Cade York missed the extra point on the touchdown.

Though he didn't have enough time on the clock to secure a win, Rudolph squeezed in a last-second Titans touchdown to Cincinnati native Josh Whyle, a La Salle High School and UC graduate.

The game ended with 10 turnovers between the Bengals and Titans — the most combined turnovers in an NFL game since 2007.

In his post-game press conference, Burrow described the game as "sloppy" with "too many self-inflicted wounds."

"It was just a frustrating day on offense," Burrow said.

Despite the offensive woes, Burrow set a franchise record Sunday of 36 single-season touchdowns following his three touchdown passes in the game.

The Bengals next face the Cleveland Browns in Paycor Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 22. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
