At WCPO 9 News, we know we have a large area in our region. There’s a lot of news that happens in our community everyday.

We want to most accurately reflect what happens in your corner of that community.

That’s not always an easy task. We have only so many journalists on our team.

That’s why we have created a series of partnerships that will help us bring you more news that matters.

We have had long-standing partnerships with The Journal News in Butler County and WHIOin Dayton to our north.

Now, we have entered into new partnerships. These partnerships are designed to provide coverage in areas where we know we can do a better job of finding stories -- areas outside the Interstate 275 loop and with the African-American community.

So we are now partnered with the following:

_ The Cincinnati Herald, the largest African American newspaper in Cincinnati

_ The Ledger Independent in Maysville, Kentucky

_ Brown County Press in Brown County, Ohio

_ The Clermont Sun in Clermont County, Ohio

_ The News Democrat in Georgetown, Ohio

_ The People’s Defender in West Union, Ohio

_ The Ripley Bee in Mount Orab, Ohio

These agreements will allow us to use stories from these partners on our website and on TV as long as we provide credit.

This is part of our commitment to you to share as much news from as many different corners of this region as possible.
