CINCINNATI — The rehabilitation of parts of a major Cincinnati roadway will begin Friday.

Columbia Parkway between Delta Avenue and William Howard Taft Road will get a facelift including excavation, repairs and concrete pours, according to a news release from the City of Cincinnati.

Drivers should expect delays as the traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The left and middle lanes of westbound traffic will be closed 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from May 21-24. Crews will repeat a similar cycle as work continues on the project throughout the summer or until the rehabilitation is complete.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the construction.
