Another man -- Bahaudin Jacobs, 25 -- was arrested late last week and also charged with murder.

Jenkins death came during an especially violent 12 hours for the Tri-State: Just minutes before police discovered Jenkins, Kendall Perkins, 34, had been found shot to death inside his car on West Elder Street. A second victim had gunshot wounds in his arm and back and drove himself to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police did not release his name, but they said they believe the two shootings in Over-the-Rhine were connected.

Hours before that, 37-year-old Cheryl Allender was shot dead in her home. Her husband, John Allender, now stands charged with murder in connection to her death.
