CINCINNATI – The final two weeks of the Ohio high school football regular season should provide plenty of drama before the postseason begins in November.
WCPO sports anchor Keenan Singleton, WCPO.com’s Mike Dyer and TriStateFootball.com’s Greg Shoemaker discuss the playoff scenarios including multiple teams for the final spots in Division I, Region 4, Division II, Region 8 and Division III, Region 12, according to projections analystSteve Shuck.
There is also a conversation with Ohio State women’s basketball standout Kelsey Mitchell and her father, Buckeyes’ assistant coach Mark Mitchell.
Kelsey, a 2014 Princeton High School graduate, won Ohio Ms. Basketball honors as the Vikings won the Division I state title her senior season.
Mark Mitchell, a former Taft boys’ basketball coach, led the Senators to the Division III state title in 2011. He coached Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Adolphus Washington and Oregon wide receiver Dwayne Stanford – both of whom were U.S. Army All-Americans in high school.
