ST. BERNARD-ELMWOOD PLACE, Ohio – March 23 marks a significant anniversary in Greater Cincinnati sports history.
That will be the 15th anniversary of when the Roger Bacon boys’ basketball team upset Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary and LeBron James 71-63in the Division II state final at Value City Arena in Columbus.
It was the only time James lost to an Ohio team during his high school career.
