RECAP: NCAA Selection Sunday

The dream came true for Cinderella Northern Kentucky University, while the NCAA selection show must have thrown a terrifying scare into Xavier.

But all is well now that the Norse, the Musketeers and UC Bearcats are going to the Big Dance.

NKU, a 15 seed, will play 2-seed Kentucky in the ultimate David-Goliath matchup on Friday - and what could be better than playing in Indianapolis, just a 100-mile drive? (Tipoff approximately 9:30 p.m. EDT on CBS).

Xavier, which was on the bubble, had to sweat it out as 67 of the 68 teams were announced until the Musketeers got the last call. The 11 seed will play 6-seed Maryland in Orlando on Thursday (6:50 p.m EDT  onTNT).

UC's loss in the conference finals Sunday apparently dropped them from a 4 or 5 seed to a 6. The Bearcats will play a First Four winner - Kansas State or Wake Forest - Friday in Sacramento. (7:27 p.m. EDT on truTV).
