CINCINNATI -- A car tried to beat the streetcar Wednesday afternoon and lost.
According to Metro spokeswoman Brandy Jones, two cars crossed in front of the streetcar to go westbound Central Parkway as the streetcar moved north on Main Street at around 11:55 a.m. One car made contact with the front corner of the streetcar; the streetcar only suffered minor damage.

No injuries were reported from the crash and the scene was cleared within 30 minutes, Jones said.
