WINCHESTER, Ind. -- An emergency radio broadcast on WZZY 98.3FM in Randolph County reported a zombie attack and disease outbreak in Indiana, but the sheriff's department there says it was the result of the station being hacked.

A post on the Randolph County Sheriff's Department Facebook page cleared up the alleged emergency, saying they have contacted the Indiana Department of Homeland Security regarding the hack.

The sheriff's department did not provide when the broadcasts were made, but stressed there is no emergency or disease outbreak in the county.

So rest easy, Hoosiers, the zombie apocalypse will have to wait for another day... UNLESS, this is the government trying to cover it up, and then it will escalate to an uncontrollable level before the public knows, which is how most zombie movies start, and then, omg, get your shelters ready, make sure you're armed and PREPARE FOR...

Nope. Just kidding. There are no zombies.
