Murderer sentenced to 105 years in Ind. slaying

VERSAILLES, Ind. -- A woman convicted of killing a homeowner during an Indiana burglary will have a long time to think about her actions.

Allison Moore was sentenced in the death of Nancy Hershman on Monday.

Moore was convicted of killing Hersman during a break-in in 2012.

Prosecutors said Moore, along with two juveniles,” drove from their Colerain Township home to Hershman’s home and killed her.

At the time, authorities said the trio was driving around and randomly decided to stop at Hershman’s home.

Moore was sentenced to 105 years in prison. She is eligible for parole after 52 and a half years.
