WARSAW, Ky. -- A driver was killed after she collided with a wrong-way driver Thursday, according to Kentucky State Police.
Police were sent to the scene of the crash at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Investigators found that a vehicle had been traveling north in the southbound lane of KY-1039 when it struck another vehicle being driver by Jeanette Ridner, 42, of Vevay, Indiana.
Ridner was transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
A 13-year-old passenger was also hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries.
Kentucky State Police were still investigating the crash.
