Two people found dead inside burned vehicle in Fort Mitchell

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. — Fort Mitchell Police are investigating a crash on Orphanage Road that left two people dead on Sunday.

According to police, a passer-by called the Fort Mitchell Police Department after spotting a car on fire that was crashed into a tree at 75 Orphanage Rd.

When officers arrived, they found the fire had subsided and two people were dead inside the vehicle. Police have not yet identified the victims or the cause of the crash.
