COVINGTON, Ky. -- People lined up outside of Bard's Burgers & Chili on Monday for the chance to appear in an episode of new Food Network series "Ginormous Food."

The cable network contacted Bard's owner Jordan Stephenson earlier this month about filming in the eatery at 3620 Decoursey Ave. On Monday, guests waited to fill the restaurant, then watched series host Josh Denny chow down on the Cincinnasti, a multiple-patty hamburger made of goetta and Cincinnati-style chili.

When Stephenson brought out the burger, Denny had only one thing to say: "This thing is impressive."
Stephenson became the third owner of Bard's after re-opening the restaurant in October 2015. He created the "New Bardzilla Challenge," where brave guests try to eat a 4.6-pound burger and four pounds of fries within an hour. The Cincinnasti burger was a modified version of the Bardzilla Challenge created specifically for the Food Network taping.

Denny and the Food Network are expected to visit Blue Ash Chili on Tuesday for another episode of the series.
"This area is our last stop for the first season," Denny said during a break outside of Bard's.
Food Network has yet to announce when the Bard's Burgers episode of "Ginormous Food" will air. The series is expected to premiere on the network in early 2017.
