PARK HILLS, Ky. -- Deputies confirm that a pedestrian died after being struck by a driver early Saturday morning in Park Hills, Kentucky.

The crash happened at around 7:22 a.m. in the 1600 block of Dixie Highway near Covington Catholic High School, police said.

Police identified the victim as Roger Lee Stephenson, 68, of Park Hills. He may have been running to a nearby bus stop, officials said earlier.
