SPRINGDALE, Ohio – Police arrested a man who they said stole nine “Star Wars” DVD sets worth more than $500 during two separate thefts from Costco.
Christopher Rieser, 32, was first spotted on surveillance video leaving the Kemper Road store without paying for five DVD sets worth a total of $449.95 May 11, according to court records.
He then apparently returned to the scene of the crime Sunday, when he stole another four DVD sets worth a total of $129.96, according to court records.
Rieser was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts of theft.
He was due in court for arraignment Monday.
