FAIRFIELD, Ohio – A 33-year-old woman found dead in her car in a wooded area in Fairfield Monday was newly engaged.

Authorities said Elizabeth Clevenger's car about 50 feet off the road near the intersection of Crestview Avenue and Mack Road Monday afternoon.

Christopher Bishop, an independent snow plow operator, was driving by when he spotted a wide swath in the treeline off the road, police said.

"I noticed a white car wrecked in the wooded area on the right side," Bishop said.

Bishop said he stopped to investigate and called police.

Police and fire crews recover Clevenger's car from a wooded area off Crestview Avenue and Mack Road Monday afternoon.

Authorities told WCPO they don't know how long the car had been in the woods or how it got there.

Condolences have poured in to Clevenger's fiancé Daniel Connor on social media. In November, he asked Clevenger to marry him, and the couple was scheduled to close on a house Jan. 9.

Clevenger worked in a Sharonville Kroger pharmacy during the day and was a DJ on nights and weekends.

"She had the personality for it," friend and fellow DJ Dex Newberry said. "She was just such a light to be around."

He said he can't forget the last thing Clevenger did before he left her house Sunday.

"She helped me load every piece of DJ equipment into my car and told me to drive carefully and not hit the brakes too hard because she was afraid my equipment would come up and hit me and injure me," he said.

The Butler County Coroner ruled Clevenger's death accidental.

No other details have been released.
