CLEVES, Ohio -- Police say a dog has bitten two people in as many weeks in Cleves. The dog will not be removed from its home, but the owner has been cited by the SPCA.
According to Sgt. Cliff Wright, the man who was bitten by the dog on Monday in the 500 block of Porter Street decided not to file a police report because the dog's owner was paying for his medical bills.
Wright said the dog's owner, Vickie Worthington, has been cited by the SPCA in the past. Yesterday, Worthington was cited for failure to license the dog, according to Cleves PD Chief Rick Jones.

Last week, April Nance filed a report with Cleves police saying her daughter was bitten by Worthington's dog as she walked by the same residence on her way home from school. The girl was bitten on her left arm and thigh.
Incident reports show that Worthington, 45, was cited with a misdemeanor and said she has already paid the fine associated with the charge.
