CINCINNATI -- This Friday, quit trolling the interwebs for cute animal videos to waste your work day away and bring in the real deal.
UberPUPPIES is hitting the streets of Cincinnati Friday to bring tiny canines to your office. Alongside the League for Animal Welfare, Uber hopes to deliver some pre-Valentine's Day loving and raise awareness for pet adoption and animal shelters through the Tri-State.
How do I get puppies? Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, open the Uber app on your smartphone and request the "Puppies" option in the app. Once matched, a $30 donation to the League for Animal Welfare will bring you 15 minutes of puppy playtime.

Uber predicts the puppies will be in high demand and asks that users be patient while waiting for their doggy delivery. Every puppy involved is available for adoption at the end of the day.
"Normally you can push a button and get a ride. Today you can push a button and get a puppy!" said Casey Verkamp, UBER Cincinnati general manager. "Everybody needs a snuggle sometimes."
If you are away from the office Friday or for some reason cannot fit in a puppy visit (unbelievable!), you can still meet them at the shelter at 4193 Taylor Rd. in Batavia or at the My Furry Valentine event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14 at the Sharonville Convention Center. Last year's My Furry Valentine adoption event resulted in more than 700 pet adoptions.
Donna Moore of the League for Animal Welfare said the shelter currently has about 30 puppies and 25 adult dogs available for adoption. She added that the animals are spayed, neutered, up-to-date on their shots and ready to go home.
"Getting them socialized is the No. 1 job for us to do," Moore said. "Seeing them here with everybody, running around and playing (is) awesome. It’s really cute. This is their first ride out, so then with all these people with a different atmosphere is pretty nice to see."
