CINCINNATI -- A body turned up in the Mill Creek on Tuesday, the second in less than 24 hours and the third this month.
Tuesday morning's discovery was near Mehring Way, not far from where the creek flows into the Ohio River in Queensgate. Firefighters recovered the body, a male, from under the Sixth Street Viaduct. They turned it over to the Cincinnati Police Department's Criminal Investigations Section.
On Monday afternoon, a body was pulled from the creek near Byrneslake Court, several miles to the north in Cincinnati's Carthage neighborhood.
Neither victim has been identified yet. Police didn't say if they believe the bodies are related, or how the people died.
Another body, that of a missing Mason resident, was found June 10 behind Woody Sander Ford in Spring Grove Village.
