CINCINNATI -- Police identified 37-year-old Spencer Cormier as the man who was fatally shot in Over-the-Rhine Monday morning.
The shooting took place on East McMicken Avenue near Frintz Street, a block away from Findlay Playground.
Cormier was shot in the abdomen, according to Cincinnati police dispatchers. When police arrived on the scene, Cormier was already dead.
East McMicken Avenue was temporarily closed while police investigated.
