CINCINNATI -- As if Fiona isn’t enough reason to go to the Cincinnati Zoo this summer, the zoo has added a Tri-State favorite: Graeter's Ice Cream.
The zoo now carries 12 flavors of Graeter’s ice cream, chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches (or chip wheelies for you Graeter’s aficionados) and a variety of sundaes.
Graeter’s ice cream has been in high demand for years, said Chad Yelton, vice president of Marketing and Communications.
“We are very excited about adding another hometown brand to the Zoo,” Yelton said. “Our guests (and staff) have been asking for Graeter’s Ice Cream for years, so it’s nice to be able to offer this sweet treat to our 1.6 million guests that visit each year.”
Graeter’s is excited about the partnership too.
Chip Graeter, fourth-generation owner of Graeter’s Ice Cream, said it’s an “honor” to serve their products at a Cincinnati landmark.
