CINCINNATI -- Fiona's isn't making her public debut just yet -- but that moment is drawing closer and closer.
While the Cincinnati Zoo's beloved baby hippo still isn't out and about for visitors to view, the zoo is hosting a special media-only preview Wednesday that will feature Fiona exploring her outside habitat and 9-foot-deep pool.
The event is not open to the public, but WCPO will live stream it at 6 p.m. on Facebook, wcpo.com and the WCPO app.
Fiona will explore the Hippo Cove exhibit after the zoo closes. She will be accompanied by swimmers, zoo officials said.

"Fiona is not out for the public to see yet," Zoo Communications Director Michelle Curley said. "She is exploring outside after hours."
Since Fiona was born prematurely earlier this year, the zoo has closely guarded access to her due to her weakened immune system and other concerns for her safety. This will be the first chance members of the media have to shoot photos and videos of Fiona.
