CINCINNATI -- First responders took one woman and one child to the hospital after a house caught fire in Evanston Tuesday morning, according to the Cincinnati Fire Department.
The woman and the child were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Fire Chief Craig Coburn. The woman was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and the child was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Three other children were inside the home when the fire started, but they were not injured.
The fire started on the second story of a home on Dauner Avenue, and firefighters extinguished it quickly, Coburn said.
