CINCINNATI — Emergency crews responded to a fire at about 12:45 p.m. Monday at the Cohen recycling center at 4538 Kellogg Ave. Dark smoke was visible miles away.

Dispatchers told WCPO that Cincinnati Fire assisted with a metal fire in the back of the facility. Officials have not said what caused it.

Kellogg Avenue has reopened after being shut down in both directions in the area, according to Cincinnati police.

The bird’s-eye view from Chopper 9 shows smoke pouring from a large pile of metal materials.
