NEWPORT, Ky. -- An overnight fire destroyed a Newport building after firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours.
No one was injured in the fire, which broke out before 2 a.m. Tuesday at a building on Washington Avenue, according to a Campbell County dispatcher.
Firefighters evacuated the building at one point as flames grew. The fire also damaged the neighboring building.
