NEWPORT, Ky. – The AMC 20 Theatres at Newport on the Levee will undergo an $8 million upgrade including adding fully reclining power seats, AMC announced Thursday.
The renovation also calls for:
- Updating all theaters (excluding the IMAX) with technologically advanced sight, sound and screen features.
- Expanding food and beverage selections and upgrading McGuffin’s Bar.
- Remodeling and converting one theater into a premium large format experience.
Work will start this fall 2017 and will be completed in phases. It is not expected to impact customers, AMC said.
The renovation will extend AMC’s commitment to Newport on the Levee until 2032.
