ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP Ohio -- Dozens of firefighters knocked down a large fire at a company that makes plastic drainage pipes and other products for the sewage industry.
The fire was reported Sunday afternoon at Advanced Drainage Systems on Hamilton Eaton Road.

St. Clair Township Fire Chief Larry Anglin said it took about 90 minutes to get the fire under control.
"This was a very large fire and it took a very long time to contain," he said.
Workers inside the building reported the fire, but the cause was not immediately known, according to Anglin. He said there had been damage to the company's products, but not to the building itself.
"Right now, we're dealing with basically one big glob of plastic back in there, probably about an acre-and-a-half of burnt plastic," Anglin said.
Agencies from around Butler County responded to the fire. Thick, black smoke was visible for miles.
Officials called the Environmental Protection Agency as a precaution, but they did not believe anything hazardous burned.
