MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday night while crossing North University Boulevard, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
Sgt. Brian Bost said a pickup truck struck the victim, a woman, knocking her off the road. Her shoes lay in the street as investigators arrived. There was no crosswalk in the area she had been attempting to cross, Bost said.
The victim’s identity was not immediately publicized. The driver and passenger in the pickup were unharmed.
