MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- James Austin Hancock, a 14-year-old student, opened fire Monday in the cafeteria of Madison Jr./Sr. High School, injuring four students, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.

Terrified parents converged on the school, waiting for word on their children.

None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, Jones said. Hancock was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault, inducing panic and making terrorist threats.
