FLORENCE, Ky. -- A Villa Hills woman died Tuesday morning after she turned in front of a truck, according to Florence police.
Annette Ross had stopped for a stop sign on Doering Drive shortly after 11 a.m., Capt. Tom Grau said. Then she turned left onto westbound Ted Bushelman Boulevard in front of Leo Dietz's Ford F350 truck, Grau said.
Florence paramedics took Ross in an ambulance to St. Elizabeth Florence; then she went in a medical helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Grau said. She was pronounced dead at UC.
Dietz was not injured.
Grau said the crash remains under investigation.
