BURLINGTON, Ky. — A fire tore through a Burlington family's home early Sunday, resulting in a total loss of property.
Crews were dispatched at 2:45 to the 3500 block of Idlewild Road in Burlington.
Sergant Joe Jameson said crews arrived to a house fully engulfed in flames. He said all family members made it out of the home with no injuries, but the house is a total loss.
"They lost everything," Jameson said.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Fire crews from Burlington, Hebron, Florence and airport fire all assisted.
