BLUE ASH, Ohio -- A man police are calling "a hero" was shot in the leg around 7 a.m. Wednesday at LSI Industries off McAuley Place when he tried to intervene in a domestic argument.
Police are looking for Darryl Brown Jr., 28, as a suspect in the shooting. According to Blue Ash Police Chief Paul Hartinger, a man was shot while attempting to stop Brown when he came looking for a female employee.
"I would consider the person (who was shot) a hero, because he saved her from being shot," Hartinger said. "He received a gunshot wound to the leg, was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive."
Police said Brown is considered armed and dangerous. He may be driving a light blue Chevy Equinox, Hartinger said.
The injured man was transported to a nearby hospital. Police have not identified the victim.
Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is asked to call 513-745-8555 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
