CINCINNATI -- Looking for a new sweetheart this Valentine's Day? So are the hundreds of pets that will be at My Furry Valentine this weekend in Sharonville.
More than 40 local rescue organizations will be at the mega adoption event at the Sharonville Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Those rescues will bring more than 700 pets total to the event.
The event's Facebook page says "dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and other small critters" will be ready to go home with those in attendance. Adopters will also take home a "swag bag" and be entered in an event raffle. Kids are welcome, but no other pets are allowed to enter the event.

Cost: $3 at the door, free for kids. You can enter for free with a voucher from any area Uniter Dairy Farmers store.
Want to take a peek early? You can purchase "early bird admission" for $15 to meet available pets between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Kids under 17 are free.
